Join Our Team as a Front Desk Agent at Best Western Butch Cassidy Inn! Looking for an opportunity to provide outstanding customer service in a welcoming and professional environment? Best Western Butch Cassidy Inn, located in beautiful Beaver, UT, is seeking a friendly and dependable Front Desk Agent to be the face of our hotel. If you enjoy interacting with people, solving problems, and ensuring guests have a memorable stay, this could be the perfect role for you! What You'll Do As a Front Desk Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and welcoming experience from check-in to departure.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Greeting guests with a warm, professional attitude. Efficiently handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Answering and directing phone calls while addressing guest questions and special requests. Resolving guest concerns and complaints with professionalism and care. Processing payments and balancing the cash drawer at the end of your shift. Maintaining accurate guest records in our property management system (PMS). Communicating guest needs with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams. Monitoring room availability and reporting any maintenance or housekeeping issues. Promoting hotel amenities and upselling room upgrades when appropriate. Keeping the front desk area clean, organized, and professional. Assisting with other operational tasks such as laundry or breakfast service during slower periods. Following all hotel policies to ensure guest privacy and security. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences. Here's what you'll need to succeed:Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience:
Previous customer service or hotel experience is a plus but not required.Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.Personal Qualities:
Professional appearance and positive attitude. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Bend, stoop, reach, and carry supplies as needed. Work at a computer for extended periods. Schedule and Availability This role requires flexibility, as shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical shifts may fall within the following timeframes: 6:00 AM- 2:00 PM 2:00 PM
- 10:00 PM 10:00 PM
