Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality management, possess strong communication skills, and be able to handle various front desk operations efficiently. I am currently seeking to fill a full time day shift position from 7-3 pm. I am also seeking to fill a part-time evening shift from 3-11 and 5-9. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and check them in/out promptly. Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experience. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and record keeping. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Experience in hospitality or hotel management preferred. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse clientele. Proficient in phone etiquette and managing multi-line phone systems. Familiarity with resort operations and front desk procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with guests and team members.
