Job Description

Job Description As a Front Desk Clerk, you are the face of the hotel and play a key role in providing a welcoming and smooth guest experience. You'll assist with check-in/check-out, handle guest requests, and ensure that each guest feels valued and well cared for during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Check-In/Check-Out:
Greet all guests warmly and professionally Process check-ins, check-outs, and reservations accurately Verify guest identification, assign rooms, and issue key cards Maintain accuracy of room availability and guest billing in the system
Customer Service:
Provide information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints or issues promptly Offer upsells or upgrades in line with hotel policies
Clerical and Administrative:
Operate property management system (e.g., ChoiceAdvantage) Answer and direct phone calls appropriately Handle payment processing (cash, credit, direct bill) Complete shift reports and communicate with incoming staff
Operational Support:
Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance as needed Follow brand standards and hotel policies at all times Assist with light concierge duties, wake-up calls, or special requests
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred Familiarity with hotel reservation systems (especially ChoiceAdvantage ) is a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Spanish Bi-lingual preferred
Physical Requirements:
Standing for extended periods Light lifting (up to 25 lbs) Occasional bending or walking
