Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing friendly, efficient service while managing reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a memorable stay for every visitor, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and supporting overall hotel management. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression through professional communication, excellent phone etiquette, and personalized service. Sell, register, and assign guest rooms while accurately managing reservations, modifications, and cancellations using OPERA and other property management systems (PMS). Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs, verifying identification, payment methods, and reservation details to ensure accuracy. Calculate guest bills, collect payments, maintain cash banks, and ensure compliance with hotel cash-handling and accounting procedures. Post charges to guest accounts, including room service, food and beverage purchases, telephone charges, and other hotel services. Promote hotel facilities, amenities, services, and loyalty programs to enhance the guest experience and achieve departmental enrollment goals. Respond promptly to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, policies, and local attractions, both in person and over the phone. Resolve guest requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and strong problem-solving skills to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs, room issues, and emergency situations according to hotel procedures. Provide transportation for guests to and from Pasco Airport as needed, maintaining a valid driver's license and adhering to safety standards. Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations and create memorable, high-quality guest experiences. Requirements Proven experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality environments, with knowledge of property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA. Strong customer service and communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and the ability to build positive relationships with guests, coworkers, managers, and external partners. Ability to handle guest concerns, complaints, and challenging situations with patience, empathy, tact, professionalism, and sound problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of basic accounting practices, cash handling procedures, and local attractions to effectively assist guests and support daily operations. Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, adapt quickly to changing situations, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to process information accurately, make timely changes, and maintain accurate records. Typing proficiency and 10-key data entry experience preferred. Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are highly desirable. Consistently demonstrates integrity, honesty, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Pay:
$17.13 - $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
