Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that all guest needs are met efficiently. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and check them in, ensuring a smooth registration process. Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities. Manage reservations and maintain accurate records using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software. Assist with night audit procedures as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests. Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs Must be available weekends Shift 3-11 and weekends Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Familiarity with front desk operations, including night audit processes and phone etiquette. A background in resort or hotel environments is highly desirable.
