Job Overview Part-Time Front Desk & Guest Experience Assistant 10-15 hours per week | $15 per hour | Flexible schedule Do you enjoy meeting people, helping families, and working in a creative environment? The Waupaca Arts Hub is looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our front desk team. This is an active, people-focused position in a welcoming nonprofit arts center. You'll greet visitors, help families enjoy our programs, assist pottery painters, answer questions, and help keep our creative spaces ready for guests. What You'll Do Welcome children, families, students, artists, and visitors Check guests in and assist with registrations and purchases Help visitors use Create & Grow, our intergenerational play and creativity space Assist customers in POP, our Paint Your Own Pottery studio Answer questions and provide friendly customer service Help open, close, clean, and organize shared spaces Assist with classes, birthday parties, performances, and special events Communicate and work closely with staff, instructors, and volunteers You May Be a Great Fit If You Are friendly, dependable, and comfortable talking with people of all ages Enjoy working around children and families Can stay organized while handling several tasks Are willing to clean, organize, and pitch in where needed Can work independently while also being part of a team Appreciate creativity, the arts, and community-building Customer service, retail, recreation, education, childcare, or hospitality experience is helpful, but we welcome applicants with other relevant experience. Hours and Compensation Approximately 10-15 hours per week $15 per hour Flexible scheduling, with some evening hours Two to three Saturdays per month are required Schedules are arranged in advance Opportunities to earn additional income by hosting private pottery events and birthday parties Potential for additional hours as the Arts Hub grows About the Arts Hub The Waupaca Arts Hub is a nonprofit community arts center dedicated to lifelong learning through art, music, STEAM, and creative experiences for all ages. Our renovated former school building includes music rooms, art and pottery studios, a makerspace, a performance hall, and Create & Grow.
