Job Description Position Summary:
The Hotel General Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the hotel to ensure an exceptional guest experience, strong financial performance, and consistent adherence to brand standards. This role leads all department managers, drives operational excellence, and ensures the property meets or exceeds service, quality, and revenue goals. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management Oversee day-to-day hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, and Food & Beverage (if applicable). Ensure all departments follow brand standards, safety protocols, and service expectations. Conduct regular property walks and inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards. Review and approve departmental schedules to ensure labor efficiency. Guest Experience & Service Maintain high guest satisfaction scores by ensuring timely resolution of guest concerns. Lead by example in delivering professional, friendly service. Monitor guest reviews and brand satisfaction metrics; develop action plans to improve performance. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, and develop department managers and staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and support. Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Ensure compliance with employment policies and training requirements. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to all brand standards, franchise requirements, and corporate policies. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws including labor, safety, and health regulations. Oversee emergency preparedness, safety training, and incident reporting. Qualifications 1-2 years of hotel management experience required; GM experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of hotel operations, property management systems (e.g., OnQ, Opera), and financial reporting. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proven track record of improving guest satisfaction and financial performance. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and conduct inspections for extended periods. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.Pay:
