Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Front Desk Manager to lead our front desk operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily front desk activities, manage guest relations, and ensure smooth communication between departments. Your leadership will set the tone for a welcoming environment, ensuring all guests receive top-tier service from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills, be multilingual or bilingual, and have a solid background in hotel operations, including reservation systems and guest services. Duties Supervise and coordinate all front desk activities, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries. Lead and motivate front desk staff to deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism and enthusiasm. Utilize property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA to manage reservations, guest profiles, billing, and room assignments efficiently. Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing guest needs promptly and courteously. Manage guest relations by resolving issues swiftly through customer service problem-solving techniques and maintaining positive client communication. Oversee night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records. Implement hotel emergency procedures effectively to ensure safety and compliance at all times. Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, complaints, and resolutions to improve service quality continuously. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to uphold property standards and guest satisfaction. Assist with training new staff members on hospitality standards, reservation systems, and emergency protocols. Experience Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a focus on customer service excellence. Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS). Experience working in resort environments or large hotels is highly desirable. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and front desk best practices is essential. Strong communication skills across multi-line phone systems and client interactions are required. Previous experience in guest services roles demonstrating problem-solving skills and client communication expertise is advantageous.
