The Hotel Front Desk Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the front desk and ensures guests receive friendly, efficient, and professional service. This role supervises front desk staff, handles guest concerns, supports check-in and check-out procedures, and helps maintain accurate reservations and billing. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and support front desk agents and other guest-service staff. Oversee daily check-in and check-out operations. Welcome guests and ensure a positive guest experience. Resolve guest complaints and service issues professionally and promptly. Monitor reservations, room assignments, availability, and special requests. Ensure accurate handling of payments, cash, billing, and guest accounts. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management regarding room status and guest needs. Maintain accurate records and complete daily front-desk reports. Assist with scheduling and assigning front-desk staff. Enforce hotel policies, safety procedures, and customer-service standards. Help identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction and front-desk efficiency. Qualifications 2-3 years of hotel front desk or guest-services experience, preferably with supervisory experience. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and train employees. Experience with hotel property-management systems (PMS) preferred. Basic knowledge of reservations, room inventory, billing, and cash-handling procedures. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with basic computer applications, including email and Microsoft Office. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Professional appearance and a guest-focused attitude. Preferred Skills Previous experience in a full-service or extended stay hotel. Experience with night audit or front-office accounting. Familiarity with hotel safety and emergency procedures. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift or move light office/guest-service materials as needed. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
Pay:
$16.75 - $18.00 per hour
