Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and guidance to Front Desk staff during the assigned shift to ensure consistent quality service is provided. Ensure that departments achieve or exceed guest's service expectations Prepare team member schedules in accordance with budgets and business forecasts Responsible for ensuring the overall success of the front desk, guest satisfaction and product quality standards are being met or exceeded. Ensure that all labor costs are flexed according to levels of demand/ activity/season and that opportunities for a better balance between quality and cost through clustering or outsourcing or both are explored fully Review performance on a regular and consistent basis Offer coaching and guidance when appropriate To ensure the employees within Operations are well managed with clear objectives and well trained and that they are deployed in the most productive way. Plans, organizes and monitors staff activities to ensure compliance with quality standards set by hotel which requires continuous visual inspection of guest rooms and public space areas including food and beverage outlets, meeting rooms and offices Support General Manager with managing operating expenses and purchasing for all operations departments. To ensure the highest standards of quality in all aspects of the hotel operation, guaranteeing that brand values and standards are never compromised. Assist Sales department with creating, sending, and following up with group and corporate proposals in a timely manner. Input blocks, monitor group cut off dates, input group rooming list, compile group arrival time, departure time, and any and/ all pertinent information needed to create an enjoyable stay of our groups- relay all this information to the appropriate departments.. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent, required. Minumunof 3-5 years of Hotel experience or Fosse Experience preferred Four-year (4) degree, preferred.
