Job Description
P1 Hospitality is seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can successfully manage hotel operations, lead a strong team, maintain brand standards, and provide an excellent guest experience. Responsibilities Oversee all daily hotel operations, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Breakfast/F&B, and Sales. Recruit, train, coach, and manage hotel team members. Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly address guest concerns. Maintain hotel cleanliness, appearance, and overall property condition. Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and safety requirements. Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor costs, expenses, and overall hotel performance. Manage departmental schedules and staffing levels based on business needs. Review guest surveys and online reviews and implement improvements as needed. Work closely with ownership and corporate leadership regarding hotel performance and operational needs. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, inventory, and expense control. Support local sales efforts and help identify opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue. Prepare for and successfully complete brand inspections and quality assurance audits. Maintain positive relationships with guests, employees, vendors, and brand representatives. Be actively involved in hotel operations and willing to assist departments when needed. Qualifications 2+ years of hotel management experience required. Previous Hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience strongly preferred. Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Wyndham, or other major hotel brand experience preferred. Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service. Experience managing hotel financial performance, labor, and departmental expenses. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment. Must have flexible availability based on hotel business and operational needs.
