Job Description

Marriott is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support overall hotel operations within our Hospitality & Travel portfolio. Reporting to the General Manager, this executive-level role helps lead front office, housekeeping, and related departments to deliver outstanding guest experiences, strong financial performance, and consistent brand standards. The Assistant General Manager partners closely with department leaders to manage staffing, budgets, and service quality while modeling Marriott's people-first culture. This role involves hands-on leadership, coaching teams, resolving guest issues, supporting revenue strategies, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and brand requirements, creating a welcoming environment for guests and associates alike. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations across front office, housekeeping, and F&B. Drive guest satisfaction through proactive service leadership and effective issue resolution. Support budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Lead, coach, and develop department leaders and associates, fostering Marriott's people-first culture. Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, safety, and regulatory requirements. Analyze operational and guest feedback data to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate on sales and revenue strategies to optimize occupancy and ADR. Oversee staffing, scheduling, and labor costs to meet service and financial goals.
