About us: Fairfield Inn & Suites Redding is a 75-room hotel conveniently located just off I-5, close to Bethel Church, Shasta and Mercy Regional Medical Centers, our hotel offers a scenic mountain view and provides comfortable amenities for both business and leisure travelers. All guests can enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast or a workout at the fitness center. After exploring Redding's attractions, our guests are invited to unwind in our outdoor pool and hot tub. Fairfield Inn and Suites Redding features pull-through trailer RV parking and charging stations. Every room and suite is complete with complimentary WiFi, pet-friendly options, a refrigerator, microwave, and more. Fairfield Inn & Suites Redding seeks a driven and results-oriented professional to fill the role of General Manager. The ideal candidate will be energetic, focused on service, and capable of fostering a team environment that motivates staff and delivers an outstanding guest experience, leading to top brand scores. The role demands a General Manager proficient in rate management with the ability to make immediate decisions based on sound judgment. Leadership of the hotel requires a high degree of professionalism, particularly in supporting the Operations and Sales teams to meet their objectives. The successful candidate will be both a collaborative team member and a superior team leader, with a hands-on management style and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Coordinate, direct, and manage daily hotel operations. Motivate associates to surpass guest expectations. Passionately maintain and enhance a positive work environment for all team members. Support and disseminate company goals and initiatives. Endorse company programs and serve as a company ambassador. Ensure hotel operations comply with the financial guidelines set by the company. Recruit qualified associates, build skilled and unified teams. Oversee individual and team performance, offer opportunities for development, and foster teamwork and collaboration. Consistently maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Meet all deadlines in accordance with brand and company standards. Provide a safe working environment. Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to the dress code. Prepare and conduct routine quality assurance inspections. Maintain brand required trainings and certifications for yourself and all team members. Participate and follow annual budgets and forecasts. Participate in weekly revenue calls. Manage on-site safety committees and trainings. Qualifications A minimum of 3 years' experience in hotel leadership or management is essential. Prior Marriott experience is preferred. Possess strong oral and written communication skills, organizational abilities, planning strategies, and meticulous attention to detail. Have a robust analytical and problem-solving skills. Capable of maximizing revenue and managing expenses to achieve financial goals. Leadership should be exemplified through self-confidence, vigor, and enthusiasm. The role requires strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a professional and compassionate approach towards guests and team members alike. Responsibility includes ensuring the hotel's success by maintaining guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, and adherence to product quality standards. Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays is a necessity.

Requirements:

3 years hotel guest relations management experience (required) 1-year FOSSE experience (preferred) Housekeeping knowledge (required) Food service knowledge (required) G-3, Microsoft including Outlook and Excel, Voice of the Guest and Lanyon (preferred) 3rd party OTA managing experience (preferred)

Schedule:
