We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. As the face of the hotel, you will ensure smooth daily operations, uphold high standards of service, and maximize revenue opportunities to achieve operational success. Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments function seamlessly to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Lead and supervise hospitality teams across departments such as front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Manage hospitality management systems including property management systems (Choice Advantage PMS), reservation platforms, and multi-line phone systems to optimize efficiency. Develop and implement strategies for revenue management, pricing, and occupancy to meet financial targets. Monitor and manage budgets related to hospitality operations, including staffing, supplies, maintenance, and guest services. Uphold hotel guest service standards by ensuring staff deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest relations with professionalism. Coordinate night audit procedures, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Foster a positive work environment through effective human resources practices, team management, and managerial communication. Maintain property management systems (PMS) accuracy while overseeing guest bookings, check-ins/check-outs, reservations and billing processes. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, hotel policies, and local regulations to guarantee a secure environment for guests and staff. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of hospitality management systems (PMS), revenue management techniques, and financial operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage diverse hospitality operations budgets effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations and ensuring staff and property is exceeding mandatory guest survey scores. Experience managing human resources functions such as staffing, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Familiarity with night audit procedures and multi-line phone systems along with phone etiquette standards. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Heavy communication with Area Manager and Regional Director of Operations as well as Corporate Management team members.
