Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily front desk operations, manage guest relations, and coordinate with various departments to deliver seamless hospitality services. Your leadership will set the tone for a welcoming environment, uphold service standards, and ensure efficient handling of all guest interactions. Responsibilities Supervise front desk staff, providing training, support, and motivation to deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and promptness, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Manage reservations using hospitality reservation systems, including modifications, cancellations, and special accommodations. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to resolve guest issues swiftly and maintain property standards. Monitor phone communication etiquette, answer inquiries clearly, and direct calls appropriately to ensure smooth communication flow. Assist with night audit procedures when necessary, reconciling accounts and preparing reports for management review. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a strong understanding of hotel management principles. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or equivalent hotel management software. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and guest relations. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest security at all times. Strong phone etiquette skills coupled with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone. Previous resort experience or working in a hotel environment that emphasizes guest satisfaction is advantageous. Ability to handle night audit responsibilities when required, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
