- Front Desk Supervisor
- to oversee the daily operations of the Front Desk and provide exceptional guest experiences.
- Supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk, ensuring exceptional guest service and compliance with hotel policies and franchise standards.
- Maintain complete knowledge of hotel amenities, room types, rates, occupancy, room availability, and expected arrivals and departures.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive arrival and departure experience.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Support and assist Front Desk associates with daily responsibilities to ensure efficient operations and optimum guest service.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to Front Desk team members while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily operational assignments as directed.
- Monitor the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the Front Desk, lobby, and other assigned guest service areas.
- Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and reservation modifications accurately and efficiently.
- Present guest folios, process payments, and ensure compliance with all cash handling, credit card, and payment processing procedures.
- Balance cash drawers and ensure accurate financial transactions during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure guest rooms are available and guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and community events to provide recommendations and assistance to guests.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and varied shifts as business needs require.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
- Minimum of
- one (1) year of Front Desk or hospitality experience
- in a similar role; previous supervisory experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Front Office operations, guest service standards, and hotel procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and fellow associates.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Experience with cash handling, payment processing, and basic hotel accounting procedures.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of local attractions and area resources to enhance the guest experience.
