Job Description

Are you a driven leader who thrives on providing 5-star service to hotel guests? You could be the perfect fit for our next assistant general manager position! We need an experienced hospitality expert who can work with our general manager on daily operations and take on their responsibilities, such as managing staff and department operations, when they are not available. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in hospitality management and a strong desire to provide great customer service. Compensation:
$35,000 - $42,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Assist general manager in the day-to-day operation of the hotel in maintaining all standards of guest service Deliver support to the human resources department to help them improve turnover management, employee motivation, and staff growth and retention Compose an annual budget in coordination with department heads and the general manager, and perform audits throughout the year to ensure profitability Propose adjustments that will increase hotel profitability by assessing department performance and identifying issue areas Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed
Qualifications:
You must have 3 or more years of experience working in the hospitality field You must have previous experience in a manager role overseeing a team, preferably in a hospitality role Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills You must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in hospitality management, or a related field This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service About Company Our vision is to positively impact, and our mission is to raise the bar on what relationships, reputation, and returns mean in hospitality.
