FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR

$20.00 per hour, based on experienceSchedule:
Full-time; flexible availability required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee the hotel's restaurant, bar, breakfast service, banquet functions, and related food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who provides excellent guest service, supports and trains team members, and ensures compliance with Hilton standards, food-safety requirements, and hotel procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant, breakfast, bar, banquet, and food and beverage operations. Assign duties and provide direction to servers, bartenders, cooks, banquet employees, and other food and beverage team members. Ensure professional, attentive, and timely service for hotel guests. Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, preparation, and service standards. Train, coach, and support team members. Assist with scheduling and monitoring attendance, productivity, and departmental labor costs. Coordinate banquet and meeting-room food and beverage services. Review banquet event orders and ensure functions are properly prepared and staffed. Monitor inventory and assist with ordering food, beverages, alcohol, supplies, and operating equipment. Ensure accurate guest checks, cash handling, payment processing, and end-of-shift reconciliation. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, bar, kitchen, storage, and banquet areas. Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, alcohol-service, and workplace-safety requirements. Work closely with the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Sales, and Maintenance departments. Assist with food preparation, serving, bartending, or banquet setup when operationally necessary. Perform additional duties assigned by hotel management. Qualifications Previous hotel or restaurant food and beverage experience required. Prior supervisory or team-lead experience strongly preferred. Banquet, restaurant, bar, and breakfast-service experience preferred. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and guest-service skills. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, inventory controls, and responsible alcohol service. Ability to obtain any required food-handler and alcohol-service certifications. Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and lift up to 30 pounds. Must be dependable and available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.Job Type:
