Full-time; flexible availability and rotating on-call coverage required Position Summary Our company is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the hotel's daily maintenance operations. This hands-on position is responsible for maintaining the hotel's guestrooms, public areas, equipment, grounds, and building systems in safe and proper working condition. The Maintenance Supervisor will also supervise maintenance employees, coordinate vendors, complete preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to guest and operational needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and participate in the hotel's daily maintenance and engineering activities. Assign work orders and provide direction to maintenance team members. Inspect guestrooms, public areas, mechanical rooms, exterior areas, and hotel equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliances, and building systems. Respond promptly to guestroom maintenance requests and emergency situations. Maintain the swimming pool and related equipment in compliance with applicable health and safety requirements. Monitor fire alarms, life-safety equipment, elevators, emergency systems, and required inspections. Coordinate repairs and scheduled services with approved vendors and contractors. Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, preventive maintenance, warranties, and vendor services. Monitor tools, equipment, parts, and maintenance supplies. Assist management with departmental budgets, purchasing, and cost controls. Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety procedures, and applicable regulations. Communicate room status and maintenance concerns with the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments. Participate in emergency-response procedures and rotating on-call coverage. Maintain the hotel grounds, parking areas, lighting, signage, and exterior appearance. Perform additional duties assigned by hotel management. Qualifications Previous hotel or commercial-building maintenance experience required. Prior supervisory or team-lead experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs. Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs safely and efficiently. Pool-operator certification is preferred. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other relevant technical certifications are preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and guest-service skills. Ability to safely operate tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment. Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be available for rotating on-call coverage, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
