Full Job Description General Manager:
Fairfield Inn & Suites Alpharetta Avalon Area Alpharetta, GA | Full-Time | On-Site | Hawkeye Hotels About the Opportunity Hawkeye Hotels is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead the Fairfield Inn & Suites Alpharetta Avalon Area, located in one of metro Atlanta's most dynamic and fastest-growing markets. This is a great opportunity for a proven hospitality leader who thrives on ownership of the full operation, from guest experience and team culture to revenue performance and asset care.
What You'll Own Guest Experience:
Drive guest satisfaction scores and brand standards. Lead from the lobby, not the office.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team. Build a culture where people want to stay.
Financial Performance:
Own the P&L. Manage labor, expenses, and flow-through with discipline while identifying revenue opportunities.
Revenue Strategy:
Partner with revenue and sales support to maximize RevPAR, drive direct business, and stay ahead of the comp set.
Brand & Asset Standards:
Maintain Marriott brand compliance, QA readiness, and the physical condition of the property.
Community Presence:
Represent the hotel in the Alpharetta/Avalon market and build local business relationships. What We're Looking For 2+ years of hotel leadership experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager (select-service preferred) Marriott brand experience strongly preferred; Fairfield experience a plus Proven track record in guest satisfaction, labor management, and P&L accountability Working knowledge of hotel systems (FOSSE/Power of M, labor management tools, and Marriott platforms a plus) A leader who is visible, accountable, and coaches their team daily Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business demands What We Offer Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus program Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Marriott hotel discounts worldwide Career growth within a large, stable, multi-brand portfolio About Hawkeye Hotels Hawkeye Hotels is one of the largest family-owned hotel companies in the country, with a growing portfolio of Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and independent properties across multiple states.
