Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel General Manager, where you will lead the overall operations of a vibrant hotel property. This pivotal role demands a passionate leader who excels in overseeing daily hotel functions, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business success. As the face of the hotel, you will inspire teams, optimize revenue streams, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality management. Your energetic leadership will shape memorable stays for our guests while fostering a positive and productive work environment for staff. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services to ensure seamless service delivery. Lead and manage hospitality teams, providing clear direction, coaching, and motivation to achieve operational excellence. Supervise daily hotel activities such as reservations using hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS), ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Manage budgets and financial operations by overseeing revenue management strategies, controlling costs, and managing hospitality operations budgets to meet financial targets. Maintain hotel guest service standards by ensuring exceptional guest relations, resolving issues promptly, and implementing initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction. Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, and employee performance to build a motivated and skilled team. Implement hotel policies aligned with industry standards and local regulations; ensure compliance with safety protocols and night audit procedures. Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to handle guest inquiries efficiently while managing front desk operations during peak times or night shifts. Foster a culture of hospitality excellence by promoting teamwork, leadership development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience Proven supervisory experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with a strong background in overseeing daily hotel functions. Extensive knowledge of hotel management practices including revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and guest services. Experience working with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and property management software to streamline operations. Demonstrated ability to manage hospitality teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and guest relations. Strong financial management skills including managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing financial reports to optimize profitability. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations better. Previous resort experience or familiarity with night audit procedures is advantageous for this role. Excellent managerial communication skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate teams toward shared goals in a fast-paced environment.
