Job Summary Join our dynamic Davidson Hospitality team, voted as a best company to work for, at The Westin Downtown Indianapolis a Front Desk Supervisor. You will lead the front desk operations team with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this energetic role, you will oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage daily front desk activities to create a welcoming environment for all guests. Your leadership will help maintain smooth hotel operations, uphold service standards, lead Marriott Bonvoy enrollments, and foster guest satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your hospitality management skills and multilingual abilities to deliver memorable guest experiences in a vibrant hotel setting. Duties Supervise front desk staff to ensure efficient check-in/check-out procedures and uphold high standards of guest service Manage guest reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and problem-solving skills to enhance guest satisfaction Oversee night audit procedures, reconciling accounts and preparing reports to support financial accuracy Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs promptly and effectively Train and motivate team members on phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, and customer service best practices Enforce hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably in resort or hotel environments Strong knowledge of hospitality reservation systems (e.g., OPERA), property management systems (PMS), and hotel management software Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and professionally Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and night audit processes Exceptional communication skills via phone and in person, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and client communication techniques Previous experience working with multi-line phone systems and handling complex guest interactions is preferred Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences! Pay:
$19.00 - $19.50 per hour
