Overview Join our team as the Manager of the Sport Dogs Complex at our premier pet care and training facility! In this energetic leadership role, you will oversee daily operations of our specialized dog resort, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for our canine guests. Your passion for dogs and exceptional management skills will drive a positive experience for dogs and their owners alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team while promoting animal well-being and customer satisfaction in a fun setting. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the Sport Dogs Complex, including dog boarding, training, grooming, and activity scheduling Maintain staff schedules, training and daily tasks schedules Ensure all dog handling procedures adhere to safety standards, including animal restraint and behavior management protocols Oversee facility sanitation, grooming, and kennel cleaning to maintain a hygienic environment Coordinate dog daycare, dog boarding, and outdoor activities to enhance dog experiences and owner satisfaction Conduct team meetings to cultivate support and a cohesive team atmosphere Maintain vaccine records, behavior and medical logs, and daily intake records Requirements Professional dog handling experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant with knowledge of animal health and canine behavior required One year minimum of Primary Manager experience in leading a team of 10 or more Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor activities involving animals Knowledge of animal behavior management strategies to ensure safe interactions between pets and staff If you're passionate about dogs, dedicated to exceptional care standards, and eager to lead a vibrant team in an outdoor setting—this is your chance to make a difference.
Pay:
$35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
