Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily functions of our hospitality property. This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to motivate and supervise diverse teams. Your energetic approach will drive continuous improvement, uphold high standards of guest service, and foster a positive work environment. Responsibilities Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage services, maintenance, and guest relations. Supervise and manage hospitality teams to ensure they deliver outstanding customer service aligned with hotel standards. Implement and maintain hotel management systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation platforms to optimize bookings and guest experiences. Manage budgets for hospitality operations, including controlling expenses, revenue management, and financial planning to maximize profitability. Lead human resources functions such as staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Monitor hotel guest service standards to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences across all departments. Coordinate with department heads to develop strategies for revenue growth, occupancy rates, and operational efficiency. Handle guest complaints or issues promptly with effective communication skills to resolve conflicts and enhance guest satisfaction. Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to maintain safety standards, cleanliness, and overall property condition. Stay informed about industry trends such as resort management practices or night audit procedures to continuously enhance operational excellence. Skills Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests and team members. Proven experience supervising hospitality teams within a hotel or resort environment. Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including revenue management, budgeting, and financial operations. Expertise in managing property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Exceptional customer service skills focused on delivering memorable guest experiences in line with hotel standards. Experience overseeing daily hotel operations such as front desk activities, night audits, human resources functions, and guest relations. Ability to communicate effectively at all managerial levels through clear managerial communication strategies. Familiarity with hotel experience requirements including property maintenance standards and resort-specific practices is advantageous.
