The Front Desk Manager coordinates and supports the activities of the Front Office, Rooms Division and as needed in various other departments.
Responsibilities:
Assigns duties to staff and observes performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures. Prepares and maintains information related to internal and brand quality assurance evaluations. Champions the Guest Service Culture within the hotel. Assists in the selection of hotel staff and completes all new hire and exit documents as necessary. Reviews employee performance and conducts personnel actions in coordination with the Hotel General Manager. Maintains accurate records relative to hotel operations. Assists in conducting staff meetings and other departmental meetings as required. Adheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures (SOP's). Receives and resolves or assists in resolving guest complaints and employee issues with urgency and high priority. Performs functions as the Manager On Duty. Assists with various accounting related tasks such as balancing Daily Income Journal, Deposits, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and similar. All other duties as assigned. Previous IHG and Hotel Key experienced preferred, but not required.Benefits
