This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public areas, building systems, and hotel grounds while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our guests and team members. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Maintain guest rooms, common areas, exterior grounds, and hotel equipment. Coordinate and oversee outside contractors and vendors as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff. Conduct routine inspections to identify and correct maintenance issues. Assist with fire life safety systems, emergency preparedness, and compliance requirements. Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records. Ensure the hotel meets brand standards and property appearance expectations. Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies when necessary. Assist with seasonal property maintenance, including snow removal coordination and exterior upkeep. Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance or facilities maintenance experience preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance. Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues independently. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the property. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
