What you will be doing:
As Assistant Front Desk Manager, you'll partner with the Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operation of the Front Desk, ensuring every guest receives genuine, attentive, and seamless service from arrival through departure. What you should bring to the table: You should enjoy meeting and talking to new people and enjoy the art of hosting so you can help our guests feel welcomed and special. A comfort level with multi-tasking, using a computer, and fielding questions and/or complaints is important. You should have the ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. You should also have effective communication skills and be able to ommunicate verbally and in writing and prepare complex reports of room availability and revenues generated. Hotels are 24/7 operations. We schedule based on business demands. Nights and weekends will be a normal part of your schedule. Qualifications Behaviors Functional Expert

  • Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization Education Some college of Hospitality and Resort Management (preferred) High School (required) Experience 1 years: Marriott brand experience and familiarity with FSPMS required.
(required) 2 years: Prior hotel front desk experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.
