Parkwood Pet Resort Position Overview Parkwood Pet Resort is seeking an experienced and motivated Resort Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pet boarding and daycare facility in Pikesville, Maryland. The Resort Manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional care for all pets, delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners, and leading a team of staff to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, team management experience, and a passion for animal care. The Resort Manager will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence while supporting business growth and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily resort operations including pet boarding, daycare, grooming coordination, and facility maintenance Supervise, train, and schedule staff members to ensure high standards of pet care and customer service Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all animals in the facility Maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and animal care protocols Handle client inquiries, reservations, and concerns professionally and efficiently Monitor staffing levels and operational workflows to ensure efficient service delivery Maintain accurate records for pet care, vaccinations, and client accounts Manage inventory and order supplies for the facility Support marketing initiatives and client relationship management to increase bookings and retention Address and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner Qualifications 3+ years of management or supervisory experience, preferably in pet care, hospitality, or service industries Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working around dogs and other pets of all sizes and temperaments Knowledge of dog behavior, health, and safety practices preferred Proficiency with scheduling, social media, and business level use of typical software Required Experience Experience in pet boarding, veterinary clinics, dog daycare, or grooming facilities Experience managing facility operations and staff scheduling Familiarity with challenges and benefits if the industry Work Environment Fast-paced pet care environment with frequent interaction with animals and clients Requires standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and handling dogs safely Equal Opportunity Parkwood Pet Resort is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive workplace. Pay:

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
