AM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, patients, staff, and vendors in a professional manner while following site-specific security-related procedures. Monitor access to the healthcare location, verify visitor credentials as required, issue appropriate visitor access materials, and maintain accurate entry records. Respond to security-related incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed. Monitor front-desk communications, alarms, and cameras where assigned, and report unusual activity or policy concerns according to site procedures. Support a welcoming healthcare environment by providing directions, answering general inquiries, and maintaining awareness of activity at the assigned post.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
