Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Assistant General Manager to lead our hospitality team with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily hotel operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and drive the overall success of the property. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment, uphold high standards of service, and optimize operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to make a significant impact while managing a diverse team and ensuring the smooth functioning of all hotel departments. Duties Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery. Supervise and manage hospitality teams, providing guidance, training, and motivation to meet guest service standards. Implement and monitor hotel policies, procedures, and standards to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management, cost control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability. Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize bookings, guest records, and operational workflows. Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring memorable experiences. Lead human resources functions such as staffing, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events, group bookings, and promotional activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining property standards. Foster a positive team environment through effective managerial communication and leadership. Experience Proven supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality management setting with demonstrated leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of hotel management operations including revenue management, budgeting, and financial operations. Experience working with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and multi-line phone systems. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests and staff. Strong customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations. Familiarity with human resources practices within the hospitality industry including staffing and training. Previous experience managing hospitality teams in fast-paced environments is preferred.
