Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of hospitality management, financial oversight, and team leadership to drive the hotel's success and uphold its reputation for outstanding service. Multilingual and bilingual skills are highly valued to connect with diverse guests and staff, fostering an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Duties Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services, ensuring smooth coordination across departments. Lead and supervise hospitality teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to achieve high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management, cost control, and financial planning to maximize profitability. Implement and uphold hotel management systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation platforms to streamline booking processes and guest data management. Develop and enforce hotel guest service standards to deliver exceptional customer service experiences that foster guest loyalty. Handle guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, resolving issues effectively, and ensuring positive reviews. Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, performance evaluations, and maintaining a productive work environment. Monitor hotel revenue streams through financial operations analysis, adjusting strategies as needed to meet business goals. Maintain compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards while managing multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including revenue management, budgeting, financial operations, and guest services. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred but not required to enhance communication with international guests and staff. Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and multi-line phone systems. Demonstrated ability to oversee daily hotel operations while managing hospitality teams with professionalism and enthusiasm. Exceptional customer service skills coupled with strong leadership qualities to motivate staff and elevate guest experiences. Experience in human resources functions such as staffing, training, performance management, and conflict resolution is desirable.
