Super 8, Cloquet, Minnesota Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Front Desk Supervisor to provide day-to-day leadership for our front desk team. This is a working supervisory position responsible for supporting staff, maintaining excellent guest service, ensuring hotel procedures are followed, and resolving routine operational issues. Responsibilities Supervise and support Front Desk Agents during assigned shifts. Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding employees. Ensure front desk policies, procedures, checklists, and brand standards are followed. Handle escalated guest concerns professionally and appropriately. Assist with reservations, check-ins, check-outs, payments, and room assignments. Monitor room inventory and identify reservation or overbooking concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding room status and guest needs. Ensure accurate cash handling, payment processing, shift documentation, and communication. Address routine employee and operational issues, escalating significant concerns to the General Manager. Maintain knowledge of hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures. Serve as a dependable leadership presence when the General Manager is unavailable. Qualifications Previous hotel, hospitality, or customer-service experience required. Hotel front desk experience strongly preferred. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred but not required. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide clear direction and hold employees accountable. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to remain professional and make sound decisions during busy or challenging situations. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their shift, supports their team, solves problems independently when appropriate, and knows when management involvement is necessary.

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
