Job Description
Overview:
DoubleTree by Hilton is seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel General Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the business, including Hotel operations, kitchen operations, banquet events, sales, revenue, staff management, social media platform and customer satisfaction.Duties:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient functioning of the establishment
- Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the establishment
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality food preparation and presentation
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
- Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase revenue
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures where necessary
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in hospitality management software and POS systems
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food industry regulations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is required
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
