Pandey Hotel Services is seeking an innovative, service-oriented, energetic and self-motivated General Manager to build and lead an exceptional team at a soon to be opened 90-room hotel located at St. Louis International Lambert Airport, MO.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage the pre-opening phase to ensure all licenses, inspections, and regulatory requirements are met Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel Ensure full compliance to Hotel and Brand policies, procedures and service standards Manage on-going profitability, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded A strong understanding of P&L statements Prepare monthly financial reporting for the owners Provide effective leadership to hotel team members
REQUIREMENTS
Previous GM experience at a select service hotel preferred, or at least 2 years of experience as a Front Office Manager or Assistant GM Previous Pre-Opening experience an advantage Must have strong diplomacy and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with senior managers, team members, guests, the community and the broader tourism industry. This position requires a flexible schedule. Candidates must be willing to work nights including weekends and holidays. Ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, including effective task delegation, time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective leadership skills with the ability to hire, train, coach, guide, reward and develop staff, with emphasis on continuous improvement in guest service quality. Strong analytical and administrative skills, to include business writing, mathematics for solid accounting and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. •
