Job Description

Overview The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation of the Hotel Front Desk shift and assuring that guest have a favorable hotel and gaming experience. Responsibilities Verify incoming reservations and room blocks. Assure all rooms are properly coded. Verify transaction of desk clerks to assure accuracy and correct and errors. Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers. Supervises programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Developments of staff, training, and evaluation. Manages departments financial data maintain all master accounts. Review front desk shift activities with Front Office Manager. Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary. Adhere to all applicable Innkeepers Laws, Gaming promotions, and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Two to five years' experience as a front desk clerk or reservationist with a 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required. The ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience. Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals. Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Display strong work ethic and teamwork.
