Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing daily operations, and driving the overall success of the property. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment, uphold high standards of service, and optimize financial performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to make a significant impact in a vibrant hotel setting. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services to ensure smooth functioning. Lead and supervise hospitality teams, providing guidance on hotel management practices, customer service excellence, and team development. Manage property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking efficiency and guest experience. Develop and implement strategies for revenue management and budgeting to maximize profitability while maintaining high service standards. Ensure compliance with hotel guest service standards, health and safety regulations, and property policies. Handle guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, resolving issues effectively, and ensuring memorable stays for all guests. Oversee human resources functions including staffing, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment. Monitor financial operations such as managing hospitality operations budgets, conducting night audits, and analyzing financial reports for continuous improvement. Maintain excellent communication across departments through managerial communication skills and multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette. Support resort-specific initiatives when applicable, including overseeing guest amenities and special events to enhance guest satisfaction. Skills Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively. Proven experience supervising hospitality teams within hotel or resort environments with a strong background in hotel management. Extensive knowledge of hospitality management practices including revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and financial operations. Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and other property management software tools. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, manage conflicts, and foster collaboration across departments. Experience managing hospitality operations budgets and conducting financial analysis related to hotel performance. Excellent managerial communication skills combined with effective phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems. Resort experience or familiarity with night audit procedures is advantageous for comprehensive operational oversight.
