Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. Duties Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Manage hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS) to optimize room bookings, availability, and revenue. Supervise hospitality teams by providing leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to promote high standards of customer service and staff development. Develop and manage budgets for hospitality operations, including revenue management strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards. Ensure compliance with hotel guest service standards, health and safety regulations, and property policies to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Handle guest relations proactively by resolving issues promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction at all touchpoints. Lead financial operations such as budgeting, cost control, human resources management, and revenue forecasting to support sustainable growth. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote hotel amenities, packages, and resort experiences that attract new guests and retain loyal customers. Oversee night audit procedures and multi-line phone systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and professional communication. Maintain high standards in hotel management by implementing best practices in human resources, staff scheduling, training programs, and employee engagement initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of hospitality reservation systems (such as Opera or Fidelio), property management systems (PMS), and revenue management tools. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams across diverse departments. Bilingual or multilingual proficiency preferred to effectively serve international guests and communicate with multicultural teams. Demonstrated expertise in overseeing daily hotel operations, financial management, budgeting, and human resources functions. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations and fostering positive guest relations. Experience working within resort environments or similar hospitality settings is advantageous. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of hotel management. Knowledge of front desk operations, night audit procedures, multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and guest service standards is essential.
