Job Description

Leland Pet Resort is looking for a responsible, experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. Leland Pet Resort is a fast paced Doggie Daycare, Boarding, and Grooming facility. The Assistant Manager needs to be able to multitask, possess great customer service skills, and work well both independently and as a team.
Responsibilities will include:
Direct supervision of all pet care attendants to include assignment of daily job duties. Responsible for the day to day operation of Leland Pet Resort to maintain a safe, clean, professional environment. Communicating with staff and clients on a daily basis Ensure Resort standards for customer service are upheld Evaluation dogs for social play Supervising dogs in group play Ensuring pets receive proper care in all areas of the resort Administering medications to pets as directed. Cleaning as needed to maintain the resort appearance The ability to professionally handle all grievances, and/or emergencies that may arise. Job Requirements Prior experience in a dog boarding and/or daycare facility is required for this position. Able to work most weekends and holidays This job requires working directly with the pets, so you must be able to lift 30 lbs and be able to stand for long periods of time in various working conditions.
