Overview We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to oversee daily front desk operations at our prestigious property. The Hotel Front Desk Supervisor will serve as a key point of contact for guests and staff, maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times. Responsibilities Supervise front desk staff to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes, adhering to hotel policies and procedures. Manage guest reservations using hospitality reservation systems Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism, providing excellent customer service and problem-solving solutions. Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation. Maintain multi-line phone systems, ensuring prompt and courteous phone communication with guests and clients. Train and mentor front desk team members on hotel management software, guest services, and emergency procedures. Enforce hotel policies related to guest relations, safety protocols, and emergency procedures. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in managing guest relations by addressing special requests or issues promptly to enhance overall guest experience. Ensure the front desk area is organized, professional, and welcoming at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or similar PMS platforms. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and resort operations is advantageous. Exceptional phone etiquette skills and experience managing multi-line phone systems. Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise staff, handle client communication professionally, and maintain a positive team environment. Prior experience in hospitality reservation systems, property management systems (PMS), and hotel software is essential. Ability to work flexible hours including nights or weekends if necessary to support hotel operations.
