With a rich history dating back to the early 1800s and a recent multi-million dollar restoration, our property features a renowned AAA Four Diamond restaurant and exceptional guest services that reflect our commitment to excellence. Overview We are seeking a motivated and service-focused Assistant Lodging Manager to support the daily operations of our lodging department and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. This individual will work closely with department leaders to ensure smooth hotel operations, strong team engagement, and high standards of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily hotel and lodging operations Support Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Guest Services teams Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns Help manage scheduling, staffing, training, and employee development Maintain brand and property standards throughout the guest experience Monitor room inventory, arrivals, departures, and VIP accommodations Assist with departmental administrative tasks, reporting, and communication Participate in safety initiatives and operational meetings Support other departments as needed to ensure overall property success Qualifications Previous hotel or hospitality management experience required Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays Proficiency with OPERA Cloud is a plus Positive attitude with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
