Maintenance Manager

REPORTS TO

General Manager SUMMARY This position is responsible for maintaining and carrying out the day-to-day maintenance duties and project work for the properties under the direction of the General Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned Work within expense limits established and maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations Coordinate special projects as directed by the General Manager Carry cell phone as required for maintenance calls Complete grounds work as directed by General Manager Responsible for alerting the General Manger of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur Maintain a professional courteous manner with all guests, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees. On call as needed. Assist at allTower Hosptality hotels located in Vineland as needed and work with each hotels Maintenance Managers to ensure completion of maintenance requests. Other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

High school, GED, or trade school diploma, or five or more years of related experience and/or training Hotel Maintenance experience a PLUS. Weekend workdays required. Knowledge of and experience working with HVAC units (p-tacs & commercial systems)/refrigeration and equipment. Knowledge of and experience in painting and carpentry. Knowledge of and experience in plumbing. Good problem solving and multitasking skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives Able to effectively communicate both written and verbal Mathematical skills required and high attention to detail Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment. Dependable and must have transportation and valid driver's license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time salaried position. Days of work will be determined upon hire and hours of work are 40 hours per week with a half hour for lunch - 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Extended work hours may be required as job duties demand.
