Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk Supervisor, where your leadership and customer service expertise will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily front desk operations, ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes, and foster a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your multilingual skills and hotel management knowledge will be vital in coordinating guest services, managing reservations, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. Manage reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, including handling modifications and cancellations. Assist guests with inquiries, special requests, and complaints through professional phone communication and face-to-face interactions. Oversee night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare reports. Enforce hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety and operational continuity during incidents or crises. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs promptly. Utilize multi-line phone systems and maintain excellent phone etiquette to provide clear, courteous communication at all times. Experience Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or equivalent property management software. Bilingual or multilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse guests and team members - specifically Spanish. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and customer service problem-solving techniques. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments Previous experience handling night audit responsibilities and managing multi-line phone systems is preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining high standards of service excellence.
