Job Description
Overview The Front Desk supervisor is responsible for welcoming guests to the property and providing memorable service, and to oversee daily Front Office and Hotel operations to ensure guests receive a standard of superior service at the Golden Nugget. Responsibilities Perform all duties of a Guest Service Representative, VIP Reservationist, and PABX Attendant as well as knowledgeable of key control as needed Assist in progressive training and discipline of all Guest Services staff Interact effectively with all other departments, especially regarding accounting procedures Receive guest complaints and ensure that they are satisfied and/or compensated; follow up with proper departments/employees involved Attend any specialized or cross training deemed necessary by upper management Assist Hotel Manager in writing/implementing new policies and procedures Oversee daily occupancy levels to ensure the highest yield from rooms available Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested Inspect and monitor Hotel, including lobby, hotel rooms, and public areas Qualifications Professional appearance and demeanor 2 years supervisory skills required Minimum age requirement is 21 Exceptional customer relations skills, detail oriented, leadership, time management and organizational skills a must Minimum 2 years hotel experience required Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required (Outlook/Excel/Word) Knowledge of Hotel Systems such as LMS What we offer you: Multiple benefit plans to suit your needs Paid Time Off 401K Opportunities for advancement Positive and respectful work environment where diversity is valued Generous employee discounts on dining, retail, amusements, and hotels Community volunteer opportunities
