JOB SUMMARY
The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for assisting management in daily front desk and food & beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and supervising guest service and food & beverage team members. This role supports hotel operations by maintaining service standards, resolving guest concerns, and promoting a welcoming and guest-focused workplace.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Display, at all times, a Can-Do attitude with co-workers, managers, and guests! 2. Encompass our "Be at Home" culture; making Homewood Suites Syracuse-Liverpool our guests second home and our team their second family. 3. Provide outstanding service to each and every guest by meeting or exceeding hotel service standards: actively promote a service culture, utilize logs and tool boxes provided to exceed guests' expectations, complete guest requests quickly and effectively by working with other departments/positions as needed, follow the brand standard model for all problem resolutions, utilize the 100% service recovery tool effectively , participate in executing extended stay touch program. 4. Responsible to ensure front desk, kitchen and pantry, suite shop, executive center and meeting room are fully stocked at all times in accordance with hotel needs as well as Hilton Standard. Maintains inventory and order supplies, as needed, keeping aligned with cost effective budgets 5. Conduct daily, ongoing inspections of kitchen, pantry, meeting rooms, meeting room storage areas, great room, and storage areas. Ensure all areas are clean, neat and organized at all times; maintain quality to meet or exceed Homewood Suites by Hilton Standards, as well as safety and health standards as required by local and corporate code 6. Monitor all required paperwork, reports and logs to ensure accuracy and completeness. 7. Enhances the guests experience during Evening Social and Breakfast with themes and specialty items 8. Communicate regularly with all departments within the hotel to maintain the highest standard of guest satisfaction 9. Responsible for communicating any issues regarding employees, guests, and department to Assistant General Manager and General Manager 10. Acts as Manager on Duty for a minimum of 2 weekends each month 11. Record any maintenance work orders on the maintenance log as needed 12. Participate in staff and department meetings, staff outings, power-up meetings, and daily huddles Provide a safe and secure environment for all employees and guests: This includes following the procedure for lost and found items, key control, fire and emergency situations, confidentiality for guests and team members, safety, security, and equipment safety.
