Job Description
A premier luxury resort nestled in scenic Central New York is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Hotel Operations Manager to lead its front desk and guest services teams. Position Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and hold accountable the front desk and front services teams to ensure adherence to service standards and operational procedures. Manage daily operations, including reviewing daily sales, adjusting selling strategies to optimize occupancy and average daily rates, and managing departmental labor costs. Oversee Property Management Systems (LMS preferred) and guest service software (HotSOS, DataMagine) to ensure smooth technical operations and flawless guest experiences. Prepare and distribute 10-day and 30-day operational forecasts, manage annual departmental budgets, and analyze P&L statements for accuracy. Coordinate directly with related operational departments—including Spa, Fitness, and Food & Beverage—to ensure seamless service integration across the resort. Position Requirements Minimum of 3 years of Front Office Management experience within a 4+ star hotel/resort environment. At least a 2-year college degree in hospitality or a related field. Proficiency with property management systems (LMS preferred) and hospitality management software, along with Microsoft Office Suite. Proven leadership ability, exceptional guest resolution skills, and strong financial acumen.
