Job Summary The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Columbus East is recruiting for a Hotel Operations Supervisor to focus on the hotel's operations. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in the hospitality industry, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Duties Manage guest services to enhance overall satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints promptly. Oversee hotel staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high performance. Monitor customer service scores for hotel restaurant and ensure they meet and exceed brand standard going forward. Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and hotel. Implement policies and procedures that align with the hotel's mission and values. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Working shifts at the restaurant will be required. Skills Proven experience in the restaurant and hotel industries guest services. Experience working at a Marriott hotel is preferred. Experience with the Toast PMS system is preferred. Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams effectively. Proficiency in hospitality management principles and practices. Excellent budgeting skills to manage operational costs efficiently. Exceptional phone etiquette for effective communication with guests and vendors. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in all interactions.
