Our Youngstown Boardman location is seeking a General Manager with strong operational knowledge and experience in hotel sales. This position plays a key role in overseeing daily operations, supporting team performance, and contributing to the hotel's commercial success. Position Overview The General Manager leads all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and Guest Services. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing day-to-day operations, supporting staff development, and participating in local sales efforts. Hilton experience is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership for all hotel departments and ensure brand standards are followed Support revenue efforts through forecasting, pricing reviews, and local sales activity Help build and maintain corporate, LNR, and group relationships within the market Participate in site tours, sales calls, and community outreach as needed Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training team members Oversee scheduling, payroll review, labor planning, and internal communication Maintain cost controls, manage inventory, and support operational reporting Address guest feedback and support strong satisfaction scores Participate in community events and represent the property when appropriate Oversee maintenance planning, capital projects, and long-term improvements Qualifications General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in hospitality Hilton experience preferred; ONQ familiarity is a plus Experience in Front Office and Housekeeping operations Background in hotel sales and client relationship development Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment Flexible schedule availability, including weekends or holidays when needed What We Offer Competitive salary with bonus eligibility Hilton Team Member Travel Program with discounted rates worldwide Supportive work environment and engaged ownership Opportunities for professional growth within Hilton-branded properties Fully renovated property with continued investment How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed.
