Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving overall business success. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily hotel operations to ensure smooth functioning and high standards of service. Oversee guest relations to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly. Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Supervise staff recruitment, training, and development to foster a motivated and professional team. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations across all hotel departments. Implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel and increase occupancy rates. Maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and local community stakeholders. Utilize accounting software (M3) to monitor financial transactions, prepare reports, and manage budgets effectively. Oversee maintenance of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency. Experience Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry (Five years General Manager experience required). Extended stay hotel experience a plus Strong understanding of hotel operations including front desk management, housekeeping, food & beverage services, and maintenance. Experience with accounting software is essential for managing financial records and reporting. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of local licensing laws and regulations is preferred.
