About OmShera Holdings OmShera is a growing hotel development and management company focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing the performance and long-term value of its properties. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront. About the Property The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront is a newly renovated 224-room oceanfront hotel offering guests a wide range of amenities, including direct beach access, multiple pools, a full-service bar, complimentary breakfast, and a prime location near many of Myrtle Beach's most popular attractions. The hotel provides convenient access to Broadway at the Beach, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Ripley's Aquarium, and other major area attractions. The property also features banquet space capable of accommodating sizable events. This is a rewarding leadership opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who can successfully oversee a high-volume, seasonal resort operation while driving profitability, service excellence, team development, and brand standards. Position Overview The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the successful operation and performance of the hotel. This role will focus on maximizing profitability, maintaining superior service and product quality, strengthening hotel performance, developing people, and fostering effective communication across all departments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic hospitality leader with a strong understanding of hotel operations, financial management, revenue strategy, sales, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for the hotel's day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality guest experience, strong financial performance, and compliance with Marriott brand standards. Develop and execute strategies to maximize occupancy, room revenue, profitability, and market share through effective sales, revenue management, pricing, promotions, and forecasting. Monitor hotel financial and operational performance, including P&L, budgets, forecasts, labor, expenses, and inventory, and take appropriate action to achieve business objectives. Develop and manage the annual operating budget and capital improvement plans, identifying opportunities to enhance the property, guest experience, and long-term asset value. Partner closely with revenue management, sales, and marketing teams to develop and implement effective business strategies based on market trends, demand, competitive activity, and performance. Lead, coach, and develop hotel leadership and staff through effective communication, training, performance management, and employee engagement. Oversee human resources practices, including recruitment, retention, compensation administration, employee development, and compliance with company policies and applicable labor regulations. Ensure exceptional guest and employee relations while fostering a positive, service-focused hotel culture. Maintain the physical condition, cleanliness, and overall presentation of the property through effective preventive maintenance, deep-cleaning programs, and adherence to brand standards. Oversee hotel safety and security programs to protect guests, employees, and company assets. Develop and maintain relationships with key community partners and represent the hotel as an active member of the local business and tourism community. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all hotel departments to promote operational efficiency and consistent service delivery. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and hotel management experience. Three (3) years minimum experience as a General Manager at a seasonal beach resort or comparable hotel. Marriott experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success managing hotel budgets, P&L statements, cost controls, and inventory. Proven track record of achieving financial, operational, and service objectives. Experience with yield/revenue management preferred. Sales and business development experience is a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Windows-based software and standard hotel technology systems. Ability to effectively lead teams and operate successfully in a fast-paced, high-volume, seasonal resort environment. Pay:
