General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or senior operations experience with a large economy or extended-stay motel Experience leading a property of approximately 100 rooms or more Hotel opening, conversion, renovation, or turnaround experience Experience recruiting and developing an entirely new operating team Property-management system experience Background in another high-accountability environment, including military leadership, public safety, loss prevention, or high-volume urban retail operations Strong local sales and community-engagement skills Working knowledge of basic property maintenance and the ability to assess or address minor operational issues Spanish-language skills a plus Familiarity with revenue management, labor controls, budgeting, and gross operating profit
